improving your chances on getting noticed?

My neighbor told me last weekend that he read recently that filling in the gaps in your experience history (on LinkedIn and on your resume) may help you in getting dropped from being overlooked by recruiters or bots that scan your resume. Desperate times call for desperate measures so, even if you have to 'creatively' fill in some of the gaps, it may be worth it to get yourself an interview.

So I was being lazy and I didnt worry about updating my LinkedIN profile - or my resume that I was sending out - with the latest things that I have been working on. My thought was that my experience would qualify me for an interview and make me a better candidate. I did update my LinkedIN with 3 things that would help fill in the gaps since my last corporate job. Within two business days a recruiter reached out to me directly on LinkedIN, then called me directly to do a 15min phonecall to ask me some basic questions and to let me know the hiring manager would be calling me sometime in the next 2 weeks. He called me that Friday (just 3 days later)! *YMMV

You can see my 3 updates for this year below:

Below is the creative recruiter that reached out to me on LinkedIn:

They have more job listings on their company website:

I thought the approach below is warranted, and if you are desperate, why wouldn't you try a tool that could get you more interviews/eyeballs?
*Do your own research and decide for yourself.

I automatically applied 1000 jobs in 24h and got 50 interviews (using AI BOT)

Here is the bot: https://github.com/feder-cr/linkedIn_auto_jobs_applier_with_AI

I think the top post says it best: Its like an arms race, recruiters using AI to filter candidates and candidates using ai to bypass filters.
This bot uses linkedin only, but you could probably easily add more sites to this. Could potentially automate workday, and any of those custom apply sites at common employers.
